Kroger Delta and UFCW Local 1529 have begun early discussions on bargaining a new contract for Memphis-area and Jackson, MS associates.
What to Expect
Bargaining will take place over multiple sessions. As discussions progress, both parties will exchange proposals, discuss priorities, and work toward reaching an agreement that associates will vote to ratify.
Progress takes time. Throughout the bargaining process the company and union may express differences in priorities, perspectives, and approaches to certain topics. It is normal for some differences to take multiple sessions to resolve. We believe by working together we can reach an agreement that is good for associates and the communities we serve.
